Youth Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Now in its 25th year, the Youth Hall of Fame, founded by Ralph DeStephano and currently chaired by Rhett VanScoter, is an annual award that honors outstanding 11th and 12th grade students in the Town of Greece, New York. The program is an initiative of the Greece Chamber of Commerce with key support from the Greece Central School District and the Town of Greece.
The Hall of Fame recognizes 11th and/or 12th grade high school students who have demonstrated leadership and community spirit through exceptional personal achievement or employment
A candidate must be a resident of the Town of Greece and a high school student. One or more of the following qualities are desirable in the Hall of Fame candidates:
- is an exeptional volunteer -or-
- is an outstanding employee - or-
- is one who has given service to the community or other peers -or-
- has coped with a life challenge -- physical, social, or mental (Parental permission required)
- has overcome a personal tragedy (Parental permission required).
If you would like to nominate a student for the 2016 Greece Youth Hall of Fame, email Sue Edgett, Sue@greecechamber.org, and we'll e-mail you next year's application to complete once they become available.
This year's award ceremony is Monday, 5/4/15, 7 pm, at the Greece Town Hall.
