International Nurses Day Bottle and Can Drive
Saturday, May 6, 2022
For the third year in a row, Family First is hosting a Can & Bottle Drive to provide scholarship opportunities to local nursing students. All proceeds will benefit the Daniel E. Richardson Memorial Fund of the Greece Charitable Chamber Foundation.
Beginning April 17th, we invite all community members to drop off donations of empty (and clean) bottles and cans at any of our five Family First branches during regular business hours. Just leave your donations in the collection boxes conveniently located in our lobbies!
Or, bring your cans and bottles to your local Can King Redemption Center and donate them to the Family First Nursing Fundraiser! Locations in Webster, Fairport, and Palmyra.
On the final day of the drive, Saturday, May 6th, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, additional volunteers will be present at our Penfield branch to assist with large donations, before transporting them to a local redemption center.

I appreciate the generosity of Family First Federal Credit Union in joining the Greece Chamber Charitable Foundation, the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce, Rochester Regional Health, and many corporate and individual members of our community in helping to keep Dan's memory alive and to support nursing and nursing education, a passion that he and I both shared. I know that Dan would be proud and grateful to be affiliated with all of you as am I.
Mrs. Carol Richardson

I am thrilled to participate in this new partnership between the Greece Chamber Charitable Foundation and Rochester Regional Health's Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing. It is the first of its kind to provide financial support for nursing education with a special emphasis on students from the Greece area or Unity Hospital community. Greater support for our students means greater care for our community,
