DESCRIPTION:The Canal Committee works to prudently promote the use of the Erie Canal\, the canal trailways and the surrounding area to achieve the most benefit from our historical asset. The Canal Committee\, in conjunction with the Town of Greece\, is responsible for Greece's Annual Groundhog Day Festival\, a celebration of winter\, attended by hundreds of residents and families each year. The Volunteers and Vendors Luncheon begins at 12:00noon and will run for one hour. The meeting will review all of the day's events and assignments. Please contact the Chamber office at 227-7272 if you will be unable to attend the meeting.
